TERC is a not-for-profit education research and development organization whose mission is to improve mathematics, science, and technology teaching and learning. The area this site concentrates on is concerned with the portion of TERC that works to create curricula and other products. TERC curricula that concerns mathematical investigation for this site is known as Investigations in Number, Data, and Space, and promotes the TERC philosophy of inquiry-based curricula.
