Cinematic Truth?
Ultimately this site will be a series of links that discuss the
answers that we've found in an art form that is such a major part
of every urbanite. Though the truth that is in a poetically written
novel, or in the brush strokes of a painting, or in the musical
story will never lessen, those of us who live in a city have come
to know the entertainment of the movies, and when we are lucky,
the beauty, truth and artistry that come to us in the cinema.
Sometimes it can be a single line, other times it is the whole
work. In any case these are truths Jake Fier and VSL have seen
and are putting down here.
As of summer 2003 I have only begun writing these pages, but then
you knew this.
